Bavarian Beerhouse is always interested in supporting Charity organizations and help fundraising to generate awareness for charity projects. Special interest – because the owners are dog lovers – goes to the unwanted and sick animals living in dog homes or clinics. Ernst & Young "Himalayan Action Challenge" November 2010.
The challenge was undertaken to aid one of E&Ys preferred charities, The Prince's Trust. The Trust is a heartwarming UK based charity which helps young people who are caught in a vicious cycle of homelessness, crime and drug abuse. Prince's Trust believes in giving these young people (under age 30) a second chance and a helping hand which they may not have had before. The Trust helps provide young people with the tools to 'help themselves' rather than giving handouts. http://oktoberfest.nolatitude.com/
"Hair of the Dog!" October 2008
It's thirsty work being a dog, but Sepp, Bavarian Beerhouse's resident canine likes nothing better than cooling off in the Biergarten with a chilled stein of beer (water!). And during 'Oktoberfest' celebrations (September & October) 10 pence from every stein sold will be donated to Battersea Dogs & Cats Home.
The Bavarian Beerhouse London has raised £500 for the Battersea Dogs & Cats Home through beer sales during Oktoberfest, by donating 10 pence from every stein sold to the charity. The Beerhouse's owners, dog-lovers themselves, were keen to help a charity close to their hearts and Sepp, their West Highland terrier, who is partial to a stein or two himself, even featured in the publicity shots.
